FAQ

1. Will the food be safe to eat?

This is a very good question and we recommend that you ask your caterer

  • Are they a commercial kitchen approved by the health authority?
  • How do they minimise risks with the transport of food?
  • Are all staff trained in OH & S procedures?
  • Do they have public liability insurance?
  • If the staff have an accident on your property are they covered for workers compensation?

2. Do I have a choice of menu?

Most catering companies will give you a choice of hot and or cold food as entree and a choice of meals for the main followed by optional dessert. Our preferred supplier as a large range of choices on their menu.

3. How much does it cost?

It is a great idea to request quotes from a variety of companies and find out exactly what you will get for your money so that you can truely compare companies.

4. Should I hire someone or do it myself?

It depends on how much you like cooking. If you do it yourself you certainly won’t be able to mingle wit the guests in the same way that you could with catering. You will also have to clean up.
Our preferred supplier of Catering is available to answer any questions you have.
